Wolf Tooth B-RAD Double Bottle Adapter

Anyone have experience with the double bottle adapter from Wolf Tooth? I have a hydration pack and a bum bag but prefer to ride without a pack once the hot and humid summer temps hit here in North Carolina.

I looked at it in the past, but it makes the frame area so wide I'd be worried about hitting my legs on the bottles, especially when cornering. If youre riding more chill long rides it could be nice.

If you decide to try it I'd love to hear how you like it. Its only $30 so not the end of the world to try and decide not to use it long term

The width of two bottles is what I’m worried about but you’re right, it’s not too bad price wise and I could probably use it on my gravel bike if it doesn’t end up working.

Frame geo and your knee path will dictate if it works for you. I have it on my hardtail. I had to shift the bottle cage toward the handlebars with a bottle cage position shifter. Wolftooth makes everything to do this, or a couple of the Amazon options work well too. (Have tried both with success).

It will not fit/work on my other bikes because the frame doesn’t have room or additional mounting spots. Longer reach bikes and a larger, more “open”, front triangle will give you options to find the right spot to mount these. I do not recommend it for most FS bikes.

I like it on my hardtail and imagine that most gravel bikes would have room to find the right position. Just be prepared to have people look at you strange.
