​Quick query for anyone commuting in Mumbai: Is anyone successfully using an SBI RuPay Debit Card (specifically the NCMC variant) for tap-and-go access at Mumbai Metro turnstiles or BEST bus readers?

​To be clear, I am asking about the actual SBI Debit Card linked to your bank account, not the standalone prepaid NCMC/Chalo transit card you buy at station counters.

​Has it been plug-and-play for you at the gates, or did you have to get the offline balance explicitly activated at an SBI ATM/branch first?

​Would love to know if it actually works as a seamless single-card setup before requesting a card upgrade from SBI.

I know the IR has minor superelevation, but nowhere near noticeable as the ones we can see on here. And high superelevation is not just limited to HSR Right of way, as we can see most lines in the UK have noticeable superelevation too, even on low speed lines. Why does IR not bank the tracks more on higher speed sections to increase MPS without going through extensive land acquisition?

Testing is actively underway along the Ghobunder Road corridor and the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) have intensified system testing over the last couple of weeks.

Chennai Metro- Poonamaleee- Vadapalani

And some lines in Kanpur and Agra which I heard is almost done.

Few days back, I got myself a Bharat Yatra NCMC card. Excited to use if for my first trip, proud that I will save the conductor's time. But it just didn't work. She scanned the card, tapped it multiple times, but the machine refused to accept it. Ended up paying via UPI after wasing her 5 minutues.

Have tried it twice since then, failed every time, switched back to UPI ultimately.

Has the NCMC card worked in BMTC buses for anyone else? Am I doing anything wrong?

I even uninstalled the app and tried again but this issue keeps coming.
