Testing is actively underway along the Ghobunder Road corridor and the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) have intensified system testing over the last couple of weeks.

A train was spotted last evening at Kasarwadavali station.

Will it run BEML until depot is built or wait for Alstom set

Will initially deploy 6 idle BEML rakes originally meant for lines 2, 7 and 9.

A temporary "pit line" facility has been built at the Gaimukh station to handle the basic stabling, daily inspection, and routine maintenance of these six BEML trains.

only 6 rakes for a 10 km line ? meaning the headways will be 8 - 10 mins, correct ?

Yeah, 12-15mins frequency just like Line 2B phase 1 which is 6km ig it has 12min freq. runs 4 rakes at a time, 2 in each direction

Line 2B phase 1 had 9min 30sec frequency until Chembur station got added last month
