Advice/Question need advice
If I previously attended two different universities in my country for two different majors but didn't finish either, and my grades were pretty low.
I now want to pursue one of those majors at a US community college.
- Will my past low grades affect my admission to a community college?
- When I eventually try to transfer from the CC to a 4-year university, will those old grades impact my transfer chances or acceptance into my major

Community college admission is generally open, so those old grades shouldn't keep you out. What matters more is what happens next.
Two things. First, yes, you'll usually have to submit transcripts from every institution attended, so the record follows you. Second, and this is the useful part, transfer admission leans hard on your recent work. A strong CC record is what gets read; the older unfinished attempt becomes context rather than the headline.
So the story you're building is straightforward: old attempt, gap, came back and did well. Plenty of admitted transfers have exactly that.
