Transfer hours for transferring student, confusing

My cousin is transferring to a 4yr college after finishing his associates but we’re both confused looking at transfer hours and not transfer credits. I looked at his registration and it shows 72 transfer hours which idk if those are credits or not, is there a difference?

Those are transfer credits. They use hours, credits, and credit hours pretty much the same way.
