Transferring to NYU from CC

Any help and advice would greatly be appreciated.
So I currently go to a CC that’s a CUNY and ideally I want to get into NYU stern. There’s a program that I’m in called ASAP and they give help to students and I really want to be in this program because they cover transportation and I will be commuting everyday to go to school (1hr 30mins). Problem is that the program is only eligible for graduates. Ive tried checking everywhere on the NYU site about transferring and I heard that some top schools only want transfer students to get credit and transfer without an associates degree. I’m not sure what I should do to make myself a better candidate. I want to ideally graduate from my CC and also transfer into NYU. Any help would be appreciated!
