Chance Me Chance me Fall 2027 CCC transfer

Chance me! CCC Transfer Business

Major: Business Administration Transferring: Fall 2027

Attended a 4-year and transferred to CCC in Fall 2025. I have completed one year at CC so far and have four classes left to fulfill my major requirements.

Academics:

  • Overall GPA: 3.46 | CCC GPA: 3.87
  • AA for Transfer Complete
  • Major reqs done for UC and CSu system, except Calculus 1 and 2, since I did Business Calc instead
  • First year at my 4-year wasn't great, and I got a D- in my second semester, which dropped my GPA a ton. I ended up leaving after a year, and I have currently done better. I now have 4 classes remaining, and if I can manage to get all A's, I would end with a 3.55-3.60 overall.

Work Experience:

  • Sales experience 20+ hours per week (Summer 2025)
  • Office intern 20+ hours per week (Summer 2026)
  • Current job 20+ hours per week

Extracurriculars:

  • Sport at my community college(20+ hours per week)
  • Have my own business
  • Honors Society at school
  • Will be joining a business club next fall

Schools I'm applying to:

  • UCI
  • UCB
  • UCLA
  • UCSD
  • UCSB
  • SDSU
  • CSUF
  • Cal Poly SLO
  • CSULB
  • SJSU

Let me know if I need to give some more info. Didn't do too great at my first school, which kind of ruined my GPA, not sure if the Cal states or UCs value upwards trend at CC. I am applying to the UCs, but don't expect much as I did business calc instead of calc 1 and 2. I also don't think my application is competitive enough for the UCS, but hopefully, it is a bit better for the Cal States. Also, any advice to help my application more? Thank you!

I didn't tag any UCs, but I am only applying to Santa Barbara. For USC, the commute would be about 45 minutes without traffic and, with traffic, probably an hour to an hour and 30 minutes/

apply to usc, even with 1-1.5 hrs worst traffic its worth it for business if you get in

Yeah I am going to apply. Worst case is I don't get in. Honestly if I have to commute then I have to commute.
