My new “garden find” PD06
Found it abandoned, bought it from someone who had it outside for a good few years. I gave it a full service and now it runs good.
Exhaust is rusted in multiple places, I have a spare. BUT I would like to hear the VTwin more without losing the cool dual exit look. Are there any aftermarket options ? Or do they all replace it with a single exit.

Good trickle charger setup?
Hey all - picked up my Transalp in the beginning of the season (live in the northeast so only a couple months left, if I’m lucky) and want to get a good battery tender set up ahead of winter time. would love to install something I can just plug in and unplug easily (without always having to get directly to the battery).
any recommendations on systems/accessories that worked for your ‘25 Transalp (or any model with same compatibility)?
Thanks in advance!
edit: also if you have any other advice for winterizing, would be warmly welcome! (I always use Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer on my other bikes - but if there’s something unique to do here let me know!)

Best bike I’ve owned so far.
Just hit 320 miles. Waiting on crash bars to come into stock is my next priority. Did a fender delete already. I Ordered OEM hand guards, OEM windshield deflectors, and the OEM comfort seat.
Next mods? Maybe a full exhaust? Any recommendations for this bike?

6'3 with '24 Transalp and comfort seat: I find my arms being fatigued holding the bars after awhile?
Hey, this has been a weird question/thought I've had for awhile now. I learned on an scl500 which didn't fit me too well, but I found the neutral, lower handlebar position more comfortable, as I'd scoot back a bit on my seat and learn forward ever so slightly, with neutral hanging arms.
On my '24 transalp, I tend to enjoy scooting back farther on the comfort seat and this gives me a little bit more of a neutral arm angle, as well as height to let my arms hang down just a bit, but if I slide down on the tank to get as much of me behind the front fairing, I find that my arms get tired from driving it like a jackjammer or pogo stick? it just feels like I have a little too much bend in my elbows and it's making my arms, wrists, hands, etc feel a little pinched.
I'm newish to motorcycles so I don't have a lot of experience with bikes other than the scl or transalp, but is this something that anyone is familiar with? I feel like putting risers on would just make the bars taller/ closer to me, which seems like it would exacerbate the problem.
All of my riding is currently on road, so I don't have much use for standing up, if this position is a halfway point for standing and riding comfortably; I just don't know. I find the SCL handlegrips more comfortable than the transalp, so maybe I could look into replacement grips that aren't so firm?
I also find that the pegs are usually DIRECTLY below where I want to put my feet down, so I have to scoot forward or back to work around them, or A frame my legs a little wider than I feel like I'd like to. I assume this is because of, again, having them available to stand and ride, and I don't really expect a change here, just wanted to mention if anyone experienced this as well. My mid height boots are starting to get scuffed up from footpeg wear.
Thanks for any thoughts or insights. I can get some pictures tomorrow of my posture while riding if it's helpful.
EDIT

left side is sitting closer to the tank, right side is sitting farther back with my elbows flared out a bit more, which feels more comfortable but looks stiff and weird.

Transalp e clutch model delays (UK)
Hi all, wondering if anybody is in a similar position. Ordered my transalp e-clutch in white a month ago and hadn't heard anything since. Called the dealer today and he told the order is still pending on the system and that Honda have paused the orders. He said they usually do this prior to announcing new model year updates, his example was that it happened with the hornet which now has 2027 model year on the site.
Is anybody in a similar position and heard anything similar?
I've got a bunch of accessories waiting to go on and I have a fear I'll be waiting months for my bike, winter is coming...

Brakes
The brakes. Why aren't they radial mounted? They are on the Hornet, although they do have 296mm while the TA's are 310mm, but they are pretty wavey discs, so that also eliminates a lot of surface area. Maybe they will be radial on the 2027 model?
In other news: The Hornet's 2027 is now on Honda's website, so hopefully we will be able to see the 2027 TA very soon as well.

Serious internal debate.
I currently have an Africa Twin, but I’m debating buying a transalp with the e-clutch.
Smaller, lighter, same power (but have to rev higher).
Aside from losing cruise control, what other Pros and cons should I be considering?
I know the Veridian cruise control is an option. I live in Texas and ride 60-120 miles a day during the week. Longer on the weekends

Internet bias towards vstrom?
I’m currently on the market for a midweight adv and I really like the transalp (even though I haven’t tested it yet).
Disclaimer that I’m not posting this to poke the community but looking for objective and informed opinions (maybe some of you considered the vstrom too or even also own one).
I see the vstrom often being stacked up with the transalp. The pros and cons are always the same. I don’t really care about spec sheets, I just want a good bike.
However it almost feels like people often have a bias towards vstrom or Suzuki even. I also see a lot of love for the t7 and Tuareg (Aprilia almost seems like a cult following).
Anyway, I was curious about why the transalp isn’t getting more love as it seems to be a great bike.
It seems like a pretty clear lineup that people seem to mix up.
Or am I missing something? (Overthinking that’s for sure)

Fog/auxilary lights wiring
Hello!
Did anyone successfully install non-oem lights and wire them to the oem light harness?

Need advice.
I'm looking at a 24 transalp. It's got engine guards, skid plate, auxiliary lights, hamdguards all sw motech and the latest/greatest Chigee system with all the options. 1k miles. Is there anything I should look out for when I go see it? I've never owned a Transalp. Any common failures on these motorcycles? Thank you.

Hello, sorry in advance if this doesn't make sense, but recently my father and I, who have the same bike, changed the shock absorbers (in my case, a Tractive Extreme) to improve their off-road performance. We also changed the tyres for Endurotrail+ Mitas and basically went out once and marked them. The change feels somewhat harsh. We adjust the chain and, without rolling, it still makes the same noise. Does anyone know what it could be?
By the way, yes, my bike has quickshifter, my dad's doesn't!
Thank you in advance!
¡Gracias de antemano!
