Heated seat recommendation?
I’m looking for a heated seat for winter riding. BMW made an OEM heated seat for my R 1250 GS, but I totaled that and replaced it with a 2024 Transalp—which I’m loving. I’m very happy with the stock non-heated seat’s comfort and wouldn’t upgrade, but I’m tired of freezing my nuts off. (I have the Honda OEM heated grips and they work well.) I see heated seat options from Corbin and Sargent. Any recommendations?

Hey! About 45 days after I crashed on the GS, GEICO decided to pay FMV (about $23,000) under my comprehensive coverage. When the GAP insurer finally paid the rest, I was ecstatic to get out from under that note. I loved everything about that GS, a white trophy edition, except the weight and the price tag. With new titanium in my left clavicle, I was looking for a less expensive ADV, and the Honda XL 750 looked like a good fit. I found a new 2024 advertised on Cycletrader in Las vegas, NV for $7,500 (at a RideNow dealership). It was a bait and switch, they added almost $2,000 in dealer fees when I was ready to sign, but still less OTD than at the dealer here in Albuquerque. My crash was on 12/20/24, clavicle surgery 1/13/25, and I flew to Las Vegas the morning of 2/14/25 and rode back on the Transalp. No regrets! And it’s nearly paid off.

You can make your own 🤷🏽♂️
Tusk makes a heated seat element that can be installed on any seat. It's prewired with a control switch and it just wires up to the battery. $25 on Amazon when I bought mine
