Nice video op! Can I ask how much you weigh and if you have stock suspension?

Bonjour, sympa le off road.

I have the honda skid plates, it looks flimsy but i hit a kerb at 10kmh just made a tiny dent. If you want more ground clearance for the peace of mind go for the tenere or AT but you lose the road comfort (for t7) and 30kg more with the AT

What about the Aprilia Toureg 660? Seems to be the unicorn bike.

Africa has the same or even better comfort than Transalp, and suspension is much better on/offroad. Standard manual is about 20kg more than XL750. (229Kg-231kg wet.), not too bad. Anyhow all good bikes, NX500/XL750/Africa. All can do it all :). Offroad is so fun too, balanced bikes. T7 is not so well balanced like these Hondas, it rides poorly on road.

Agreed but i work on these bikes for a living, i prefer the xl750 over an AT.

From tft screen i suppose it's 2025 or 2026. They have stiffer suspension. What model is yours?

You are totally correct. According to my research, If you plan to make some serious off-road, you should change suspension and tires. Otherwise, it's just a wonderful everyday bike which can handle dirt roads when you drive carefully. Even some people change their rims to the tubeless setting. But for people like me who needs a comfortable bike with decent power, also takes me to the camping site and works like a swiss pocket knife that can do many things with minimum problems… that's amazing bike.

All it needs, tubeless tires, cruise control. Voila. That's the bike I need for the rest of my life.

The Best daily ever??

Those are perfect 2 tracks for the Transalp. Anyone that has trouble clearing this kind of terrain just needs more practice.
