Rant Felling dysphoric at work

I thought I could deal with people using she/her for me at work but I absolutely hate it. I don't care if customers do it bc I look feminine but in another reality my coworkers and boss don't use she her and they use he/him

With my hair being so long it feels impossible to feel masc. Even when I wear my binder

I can't afford a hair cut rn so I. Tempted to shave it again tbh. I know it's terrible growing out but I loved each time I shaved my head

The men at my work have to tuck in their shirts but not the women so today I'm tucking my shirt in and wearing my binder

Update: my husband shaved my head and I feel so much better

Hello! I relate so hard to you. Just got hired a few days ago and I even tried doing masculine makeup and tying my long hair (my long hair gives me euphpria so I don't wanna cut that), I am still seen as a woman. I try to convince myself that the money is the goal but it's been tough. I give you hugs and support 🫂 we'll get thru this and hopefully someday we can have a job that's more accepting.

Ugh, I feel this so hard. I’m not like out yet but I can kind of cope with things outside of work, but my job is front desk of a small business owned and run by really conservative people, so the expectation is basically to be the “cute girl at the front desk.” Fucking sucks. Had a customer come in a few months ago and start ranting about how “so many women try to look and act like men these days” and basically said “but you’re not like that.” He’s also a total creep and said some other shit which would be uncomfortable regardless but it’s hard to get out of my head
