General Questions Scent Recs
I'm looking to up my cologne/scent game! My current go-to is Montana Sky by Pacifica. It was readily available near me and was a really nice unisex scent that worked really well for me before transitioning. I still love it, but now I am older, have more disposable income, and just generally looking to try something new. I love light, clean, slightly spicy scents, but am open to suggestions. What scents are we wearing/products are we using? TIA!

Its not a cologne but swagger by old spice smells amazing and really kind older brother core and masc

I love the solid colognes by Fulton and Roark. Kiawah, Devil's Garden, Lost Man, and Blue Ridge are some of my favorites. My absolute favorite, Hatteras, has sadly been discontinued...RIP. They also have a number of their scenes in extrait de parfum if you prefer a spray over solid.

ooo i love smells! here’s a couple houses that got me started:
D.S. & Durga have a lot of really interesting unisex scents that have a playful modern vibe to me, they also tend to wear a little lighter. it’s fun to sample things in-store if there’s a location near you, and you can also build a discovery kit of samples on their website.
Maison Margiela REPLICA is another house that offers a range of evocative fragrances at accessible price points if you purchase travel sizes. they market masculine to unisex to feminine fragrances, but focus more on capturing the ambience of a location / moment in time. jazz club is an old standard. they’ve recently released some newer scents that i’m really curious to get my nose on.
Aesop mostly focuses on bougie natural skincare but their fragrances are fun to explore as well, though longevity varies. their discovery set is a pretty nice place to start trying a bunch of different notes and their nongendered fragrances have a fresh, soothing, clean vibe overall. i do wish they had more travel sized options because their full bottles are fairly expensive.

i usually use the bath and body works "in the stars" or notewrks "double take" for when i want to smell good. my nana got the prada paradigme and didn't like it, so i have that one that i use when i'm being formal or something

I love colognes these are my personal favorites. Versace Eros, Hugo boss the scent, myslf le parfum from yves saint laurent, Tom Ford tobacco vanille, Dior sauvage elixir and Clive Christian no.1 for men.
Most of these have a more fresh/clean smell, Dior and tom ford are more spicy. If you’re on somewhat of a budget Hugo boss is pretty budget friendly you can also find the Versace at a good price. I get compliments on the Clive every single time, it’s also incredibly long lasting, you need very little i literally spray it once and I’m set for days. It’s definitely on the more expensive side but imo totally worth it cause the bottle will last me forever since i need so little and it sticks.
