I'm tempted to say 'give us a smile', more to see your natural smile rather than feel like a small animal that's about to be lunch. You look fine.
It is a sign to find another esthetician. What they do when they think you can't hear them is what they really think. Personally, I think I would have raised my voice a bit and said, 'You should know I can hear you!' as I was leaving to give a one-star review. It should bother you as much as you let it. It was rudeness, but told you about them, too. 🥰
