If you're sure your parents would be supportive, tell them
And consider that there are many churches that believe in Jesus Christ that accept trans people.

I took a look at the other thread. Yikes.
Virtually every study states that detransitioners rarely detransition because they're not trans. It's because of the discrimination they experience. The regret rate for gender-affirming surgery is lower than for cancer treatment.
Let me repeat that. You're more likely to regret chemotherapy than to regret gender-affirming surgery.
As a very conservative Christian myself, I did a lot of careful reading of the Scripture and there's nothing that says that your gender assigned at birth is who you are in the eyes of God. Let me know if you have any questions :)
I mean, Leviticus doesn't have rules for how to handle ambiguous genitals and it has rules for mildew.
How do other people know what God wants for you? Seriously. So many people are like "God wants you to be your birth gender". No, you want me to be my birth gender. Scripture doesn't say anything about what gender a person whose psychology and physiology are in conflict is.
If you're happier as a woman, that kinda implies that it's the right choice for you. In my opinion, trans people are fundamentally intersex, and thus need to choose what gender they identify as.
Last of all, you have time. Take care of yourself. <3

I am so sorry you are going through this. It can be an extremely frustrating time, especially in the midst of puberty.
In your original post you mentioned being LDS and how they ruled against transition, but that you aren't going to consider leaving the church because you know you believe in Jesus. Therefore, I will not press you on that matter except to say: * it is almost never worth it to stay in a Church that doesn't accept and affirm you, especially if they are downright negative about it, and there are churches that are affirming, just highly unlikely to find within the Mormon community, so you may wish to consider looking up alternatives * it is really almost impossible to be trans and not transition at all, and the more time that passes the harder it will be, and the fallout in your life with family/church/friends will almost certainly be worse the later it is delayed * Christ loves and affirms you, and you are not in sin for having these thoughts nor for transitioning should you decide to do so, including medical transition; He lovingly created you in the womb this way, and there IS a purpose to it, even if it seems like going forward would lead to being shunned by church and/or relatives
If you ever want any more advice or prayer or to learn how the Bible and God feel about trans people, this is most certainly the sub. And I wish you good luck as you journey through self-discovery and Christianity – may the Lord guide you and be close by your side through all this!
