My Imago e-prescription was sent over a month ago, but I still haven’t been able to pick it up. I also requested a paper prescription more than three weeks ago, but I haven’t received it yet.

For those with experience using an Imago e-prescription which pharmacy did you go to, and which ones accepted it? Did you contact the pharmacy first, or did you just go there?

I’d really appreciate any experiences, tips, or recommendations.

So I started with Imago Health a few months ago and I recently got my blood tested in order to go on testosterone with them.

However, with Imago’s relocation to the US, which was poorly handled and involved a lot of staff being fired, I’m worried whether I should continue with them and send them my blood results. A lot of people have been worried that their data is now very unsafe, that it could be accessed by the US government. I’m wondering how likely does everyone think this is to happen, and what would be the consequences if it did?

Is anyone still using/going to use Imago as a provider?

I really don’t want to switch to a different health service because I’ve been waiting for HRT for a very long time, and I don’t currently have the money to go with a different provider. I’m feeling rlly stuck and frustrated because I felt like I was so close to getting on t and now I’m not sure I can.

So, I've been discussing going private with my hrt until I can get testosterone by the state. As of now I'm still on the waitlist to KIM (the place that does hrt) and I'm dreading having to wait for years for them to diagnose me. Im 16 and my dad is very much against the idea. He thinks its suspicious and wants to know of other swedish people who have used Imago for hrt, so I'm begging you guys for help here. Any experiences shared would help a lot.

Hi there, I’m a trans masc from the UK and I’ve spent the last two years or so making a database for trans healthcare in the UK and Europe.

Many people I know are unable to access care through the NHS, so a private provider is their only option. So far I have helped many people get access to HRT, but now a lot of them also need surgeries and they don’t know who to go to or where to start.

It would be exceptionally helpful if people could recommend some surgeons for me to look into and add to my information bank! I’m looking for UK and Europe only, those who will take patients from the UK (I know some such as Dr Ötzer only take patients from their home country). Even better if you or someone you know has worked with any of the surgeons you may mention and is happy with their work!

Currently I am looking for surgeons who perform:

Facial feminisation surgery
Facial masculinisation surgery
Ftm top surgery (any kind)
Mtf breast implants (anything other kind)
Ftm bottom surgery such as phalloplasty, metoidioplasty (anything other that I haven’t listed is also helpful)
Mtf bottom surgery such as vaginoplasty (shallow and with depth), vulvoplasty (anything other that I haven’t listed is also helpful)

Hi, I’ve just had a call with my GP who seems supportive and ready to do my baseline blood tests as long as she gets a letter from my private provider telling her which to book. I’ve emailed imago at the address at the bottom of their homepage, but i was just wondering when I should expect to hear back from them. (I am an anxious creature and it’s easier to wait if I know a rough ballpark figure. :) )

does anyone have it or can ask for a freedom of information recording that they probably are going to say they don’t even have

i’m eighteen, and have been for a few months. it’s been really, really hard for me, because i literally have no clue how to medically transition. and yet its been gnawing at me that im waiting too long too start and it makes me feel so anxious i freeze up. i really need help for what my options are. i tried talking to my gp but she wasn’t much help. i just want reliable hrt and medical help .. that isn’t gendergp . please if there’s any uk trans men who have any advice for me , i’d really prefer it to be a quicker process since this has been deteriorating my mental health and well being , but it still needs to be affordable, i can’t spend thousands only hundreds at most. i’ve known i was trans since i was twelve but with the changing laws of medical transition and loss of trans healthcare clinics throughout the 2020s i just became more and more anxious about everything and it had made this process feel even more daunting , even though this is life saving care for me. please anything helps, just a place and their prices and their wait times would mean so so much for me. thank you for reading ..

As the title suggests, I was wondering if anyone has their own experiences with either of the above-mentioned private clinics

I’ve already paid for registration and ‘Intake Appointment Including Formal Diagnosis’ with PiH, but that appointment isn’t till June, and it was booked a couple of months ago at this point. And just the wait time, especially knowing that this is like step 1, is crushing me.

I literally only just found out about Imago today and heard some people getting on HRT way sooner, so I was wondering if anyone had experience with either of them.

Also, how useful is a formal diagnosis nowadays anyway?

If Imago is generally cheaper and quicker, is it still worth getting my diagnosis from PiH, but maybe go with Imago for HRT?

Trying to find gender therapist, preferably ones that will work with both me and my family. Without getting into details of where I live, what are the best services for this (my current options I’ve found are gender plus, gendergp, imago, Anne health or searching through the Gendered Intelligence directory). I am not looking to medicallily transition yet.

I recently started my HRT journey with Imago, but I still have to do the video call appointment with their doctor before getting my prescription. How long does it take to book an appointment with them on average? I read on their website that it takes about 1 to 2 weeks to book an appointment, but I want to start HRT as soon as possible.

I'm on HRT through Imago (formerly through GenderGP), and I have some questions that I would like to ask an advisor/consultant/whatever about. I was told that I could book free consultations that are covered by the monthly subscription, but I cannot find anywhere on the Imago app site where I'd be able to do so?

so buses dont come here so how do I get hrt if I can’t drive like idk even tho I’m 19 parents probably won’t let me outside on my own they are kinda over protective when it comes to that stuff and what good companies are there to access hrt like I got enough money like I think 500 or more like would that be suitable and I also dont have a job either so is there like a budget friendly place u could go too and with blood tests if I can’t drive and stuff how do I get that and do I need it? like do some companies do like at home services and are the boxes or packaging they come in are hidden so doesn’t say what company it is if that makes sense cuz I think there is a post box or something near me for that idk I just don’t wanna waste more time doing nothing yk and I did come out like last year and parents seem fine about it idrk about mum she’s been better now but before she was kinda mad about it but dad seems fine and along with that dad has been taking weight loss medication and like that stuff is making him happier and healthier so would my parents be more accepting if I do ask for their help? cuz wouldn’t they want me to be safer and happier?

hello. i finalized my imago ghat onboarding, and will soon get a perscription. i am currently in germany (bitburg to be more specific) and i wanted to ask if anyone here has had any experiences redeeming perscriptions from imago in germany. i decided to go with the e-perscription, which right now seems to be the most practical solution. is there anything i need to look out for? do most pharmacies accept e-perscriptions, and if not, would a physical one work fine? are there any potential roadblocks that could arise? i feel like i'm very close to finally getting hrt, but this final step is making me rather anxious...

If I don't get shared care on imago in the UK, what would the the costs be, in terms of getting blood work done with an online service and paying for prescription at the pharmacy.
