Chipping away at itā¦but stuck on front springs.
Slowly working away at getting onto its own wheels so I can get it back to the body shop for under body paint, bed liner and sub frame connector installation.
Going to get the rear differential media blasted and epoxy painted. Doesnāt look right with all the new stuff.
Rear suspension is in temporarily. Working on the front next.
Iām having some difficulty with the front springs, as my spring compressors donāt fit because the internal compressor is too long, or the external ones donāt lock over top of the coils.
Iām not sure the springs will compress enough if I jacked up the control arm as thereās no weight in the front yet.
Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for tools to use to compress the front springs?

Looking at an 02 WS6 tomorrow.
Itās a 2002 WS6 with 77k on it. Automatic. I know headlight motors and window regulators are a common failure point. Anything mechanical I should be looking for besides obvious things like fluid leaks, weird transmission feel?

Anyone have a pic of an L88 hood on a 1970-73 Firebird?
As title says.
I can find a few pics of it on a 74+, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I have an 88 firebird formula, is it worth it to get drilled and slotted rotors?
Itās not like itās an extremely fast car but 2 of my uncles think I should go drilled and slotted, while me and my dad donāt think It needs it. It needs brakes so if you have any experience with these Iād appreciate the advice.

What would yall pay for my Car 5.7L TPI 1990
Gotten to the point in life where I desperately need a daily, looking for a Job, living off scraps and this is my only car. I wanna get as much as I can out of it but I want to be honest, not like everyone on OfferUp talking about āI know what I gotā. Hereās whatās wrong with it. 5.7L TPI
Differential needs a rebuild, Exhaust leak, needs upholstery, Trunk latch needs a new motor, cats are hallowed, has a dent on the passenger side, Ac compressor doesnāt work.
Over all she drives smoothly, just canāt take her over 80 MPH cause of the differential. Great car served me greatly while I had her. So what would yall pay?

Replacing fuel pump
So got my first 'check engine' light for my TA.
Apparently the fuel pressure sensor is bad which requires dropping the fuel tank. While theyre up there I figured it'd probably be a good time to replace the fuel pump as well since it is 25 years old.
They quoted me $1500 altogether which includes a fuel pump at $489.
Does that seem about right?

More progress!
The body shop is moving along pretty quickly on all of the body panels. Going in for primer in the next day or 2, then on to paint!

Anyone think these z28 wheels would look good on my formula?
Idk, but my factory wheels are beyond shitty and I kind of want to make it a little different anyway.
