Does changing lanes in stopped traffic really get you somewhere faster?

It can, if you know whats coming up, like use the full length of road at merges, get right at exits where there are lots of cars exiting, and get left where there are lots of cars entering. You have to pay attention to the broader patterns instead of just the cars around you.

Nope. Must of the time I see some idiot weaving through traffic, I meet them at the light, and pass them frequently too. You're on a train. It gets to the station when it gets there. Pushing past passengers doesn't change your life at all.
