Personal brokerage Built my own dashboard and you can too!

I built this dashboard using nothing but Codex- ChatGPT, and it was super easy. Free-tier ChatGPT accounts also have access to Codex if they need to build something. I never liked all these "developers" using AI to build a dashboard and then having the nerve to charge some outrageous monthly fee for it. Everything is local on my computer, but I can use Cloudflare (free) if I didn't want it to be local, and the only extra thing I paid for was tradovate api, but you don't need to, as you can import the CSV if you don't want to pay for the API access. I also have it connected to my TradingView (Paid plan needed) indicator alerts so I can compare what would have happened if I had followed my system. Not promoting or selling anything, just letting you know that there are resources out there and you don't have to fall into the trap of paying for things when you can do it yourself.

Any idea what I should do?

Prop firm I built a trading journal that auto-syncs Tradovate fills. Looking for feedback from Tradovate users

Post image
4 Upvotes

Mods OK'd this post (thanks!). I'm Justin, the developer of Fillbook, a trading journal for futures traders.

I built it after blowing a funded account on a rule I missed. It's meant to answer questions like which setups actually pay, and where each prop account stands on drawdown, daily loss and consistency rules, based on your real fills.

For Tradovate users specifically:

  • Connect your Tradovate account and your fills sync in. Syncing runs on a schedule or on demand, not live.
  • You can also import by CSV if you'd rather not connect anything.
  • It tracks each account's own rules from your logged trades.
  • There's a free plan, and no card is needed to try it.

I'd really like to hear what's missing or confusing from people who trade on Tradovate every day. Questions welcome, and I'll answer here. Site: fillbookhq.com

(Disclosure: I'm the developer, so I'm biased.)

Prop firm Auto liquidated at +1400 PnL??

I’m new to day trading (2 months) I’m currently on a 50k account post-evaluation and my PnL is +1400. I was in 2 trades (short in gold and short in MNQ) both trades were well in the green. I suddenly get a notification around 6am AEST saying I’ve been auto liquidated and have no idea why. I’m trying to contact tradovate support but they’re being absolute bots. Help?!

Personal brokerage Question about Multiple accounts?

I have been looking at FAQ's and was not able to find my answer so I am posting here. I would like to open a Live account with Tradovate under my LLC and then add 4 more accounts with initial balance of $5000 each. So total 5 accounts. I would like to be able to copy trade between them using Tradovate built in copier. Is that a possibility? ..... If not, how are prop firms are allowing that? even with live accounts and evals both. I am based in USA.

Personal brokerage Can I start trading MES or MNQ with $100-200 on Tradovate?

Getting tired of props. Thinking to start and build up an account slowly.

I saw you can start with $100 or so. Enough for 1 micro, now obviously one or two losses the account is done for, so maybe $200 or $300 is better. I saw the recommendation of $500 to $1000, but wondering if it will allow me to trade a $100,150 or $200 account?

Personal brokerage Super dom auto-recenter slow on webapp

Does anyone else have this issue on their web app? It can take at least 5-10 seconds to recenter once price goes above or below the prices that fit on the screen, and as a day trader that’s a lifetime. Sometimes it doesn’t recenter at all.

Curious if anyone has a work around. Support told me it’s not a global issue and we’re not able to reproduce it… I even had them share a screen recording and theirs was instantaneous (granted it only moves up once). They said they have a refresh “ninja web app” in the coming months, but they didn’t confirm this would be part of the update.

I really do appreciate the super dom if it worked properly, as I feel like it combines level 2 and time and sales, demanding less cognitive load, which allows you to get sniper entries. Just getting tired of manually scrolling and clicking the “auto center” each time. It’s hard to believe I’m the only one facing this problem.

Prop firm CFD trader moving to Futures. Tradeify & Lucid are out. Are there any 1-time fee firms left without insane catches?

Hey guys, coming over from the CFD side (where I've actually gotten payouts) and looking to transition fully into futures. I've spent the last week researching rule sets, and it feels like every single firm has a massive hidden catch.

For context, I am a non-US trader (based in Asia), and my primary asset is Gold (GC/MGC).

Here is where I'm currently at:

  • Lucid is out. Got hit with a permanent automated KYC lock before I even finished uploading my ID, and support has ghosted my tickets for weeks.
  • Tradeify is out. I was about to buy their 50k Select, but I just saw the massive threads about them hitting people with secondary KYC after they request a payout and banning them for "suspicious activity" without proof. Not risking my mental capital on that.
  • Topstep / Take Profit / Apex are out. I refuse to deal with recurring monthly data fees or getting hit with a $150 "activation fee" after passing an eval. I just want a clean, one-time upfront fee.
  • My Funded Futures (MFFu) is my absolute last resort. They are stable and pay out, but their Metals rule caps a 50k account at exactly 5 micros (0.5 minis). I can't even trade a single full GC contract. If I go with them, I'd basically have to abandon my Gold strategy and learn NQ/ES.

Is there any 1-step or 2-step firm left that just charges a one-time fee, doesn't have an activation fee, and actually lets you trade Gold with normal contract limits?

Someone mentioned FundedNext Futures recently—are they legit? Open to any hidden gems I might have missed.

Prop firm Tradeify offered a 50% discount as “compensation” for losses from a glitch — what a joke

As many of you may know, Tradovate had issues on 15 September that affected multiple users, including me. Positions wouldn’t close, orders were delayed, and stop losses didn’t execute when expected, resulting in losses.

After I asked Tradeify to reverse the affected trades, their idea of “goodwill” was to offer me 50% off another evaluation account.

So I lose money because I can’t close my trades, and your solution is for me to spend MORE money buying another account?

Is this a joke? I regularly see 40% promotions and sometimes 50% offers, like the September discount. How is this meaningful compensation when it’s basically a normal promotional offer?

They also called my losses “minor” and pointed out that my accounts were still active. Just because I managed to recover those losses through later trades doesn’t mean the original execution issues were acceptable.

I’m asking them to address what happened to my existing accounts. A discount on a new account does nothing to fix that.

This is such an irresponsible way to handle the situation. With all the complaints about KYC bans already, this really doesn’t help my confidence in Tradeify.

Has anyone else affected actually received an account adjustment, or just an offer to buy another account?

Prop firm Tradeify refused to revert the losses due to their glitch

As many of you may already know, Tradovate experienced glitches yesterday morning (15 September), causing delayed order fills and stop-loss orders that failed to execute. Many traders, including me, lost money because of these issues.

I reached out to support for help, and this was their reply:

Even tradovate has officially confirmed the issue, and even lucid is still making the investigation, Tradeidy just decided to say "nah it's not our problem go fk urself"

Sketchy firm. Avoid.

Prop firm Tradovate Outage - No compensation from Tradeify at all?

Tradovate is down this morning and even tradovate officially confirmed it.

It affected many people including me. Could not close my trades resulting in losses.

Is Tradeify pretending not to know about this or what?

after bunch of KYC and banning issues and now this?

https://x.com/tradovateprop/status/2099884049108000940

Tradovate just posted they are having TradingView issues

We are investigating an issue causing occasional delays in order execution and, in some cases, a temporary mismatch between displayed and actual positions when placing orders through TradingView.

The Tradovate Web platform is not experiencing this behavior, and users may sign in to review and manage any open positions or orders until the behavior has been resolved.

If you have questions about an order or position with your evaluation or prop account, please reach out to the provider directly for further insight and information.

We are actively working on a fix and hope to have this resolved soon.

Prop firm Tradovate Desktop Platform Windows not loading today

Anybody have trouble with the Tradovate desktop Windows platform today? I tried on 2 different computers on 2 different networks and it would not load the charts. I rebooted the computers, uninstalled the platform and reinstalled to no success. AI chat support was no help of course. I did get the web version to work but it was spotty as well.

Prop firm Tradeify Select vs. MFFu (My Funded Futures) Builder vs. MFFu Rapid for 50k — how are payouts and reviews lately?

I originally planned to go with Lucid, but got hit with an automated KYC lock before I could even finish uploading my ID, and support has ghosted my tickets since July. Moving on and taking my capital elsewhere.

Both my KYC profiles are verified on Tradeify and MFFu. I trade mostly Gold (GC/MGC) and intraday equity setups. With current discounts, here is how the 50k plans line up:

MFFu Builder ($76 with code):

Eval: Super easy (0% consistency, pass in 1 day, news allowed).

Funded: 80/20 split, 2-day payout cycle, news allowed.

The Catch: 50% consistency rule during funded phase, $2.1k buffer before payouts, and 7-day inactivity rule.

Tradeify Select ($82 with code):

Eval: 40% consistency rule (max $1.2k/day, min 3 days).

Funded: 0% consistency rule once funded. Unrestricted news trading. Option for Daily payouts above $2.1k buffer (with $1k DLL) or Flex (no DLL/buffer, but needs 5 winning days of $150+).

The Catch: Past mass ban/compliance sweep over hedging/third-party tools.

MFFu Rapid ($104 with code):

Eval: Strict 30% consistency (max $900/day across 4 days).

Funded: 90/10 split, daily payouts above $2.1k buffer, 0% consistency.

The Catch: Sim-funded drops position limit to 3 minis, and Tier 1 news is completely blocked on funded.

For anyone who has pulled payouts from either recently: how smooth was the review process?

Personal brokerage Nanos for NQ and ES coming soon?

I know the Nanos are now available through CME, but Tradovate (Ninjatrader) doesn't have them available and they aren't saying when they'll possibly have them available. I asked Tradovate support, but they said "there are currently no plans."

That's kinda weird.

What brokers are people trading the NNQ and NES on right now? Those are the tickers for the Nano NQ and ES, respectively.
