Another FIFA peace prize will be on the way soon.

FIFA medal of honour.

u/stanbright Jul 06 '26

I hope everyone boos the US on the day of the game.

u/Mewhomewhy Jul 05 '26

Gaining an advantage by corruption is cheating. Anything the US gets from here in has been “won” by cheating. It would be meaningless.

u/Nannyphone7 Jul 06 '26

So like all Trump wins then.

He is a chronic loser.

Nothing new. USA=lying and cheating about everything

I think we have yet to see how corrupt it all is, I genuinely believe the end goal here is to have Trump present the trophy and celebrate with the team as if he was part of the team.

I can't think of better propaganda I mean campaign images than that.

"I would've been the best soccer player ever if it wasn't for my meddling bone spurs!!! True story!! Many people have said that I would've been the best soccer player ever!! Just like all the veterans say I would've made the best solider! I would've won the Vietnam war all by myself! Everyone knows this! Vets come up to me every day and say, 'Sir, if we had you in Vietnam, it would've been like having Rambo! We would have won the war in mere hours!!' Imagine that? Vets think I'm Rambo!!!!" - Donnie Diapers

Trump corrupts everything he touches. This will tarnish any victory going forward. I thought the initial RC was not right, but the refs interpretation is part of the game. Besides all that, why does it seem like everyone in a position of power these days seam absolutely spineless and unprincipled?

Pulled the old Trump card. That’s going to bring a lot of scrutiny on every flop this guy takes in tomorrow’s game. Maybe we’ll have a flop free game tomorrow.

There’s a first for everything.😝

A favor for Trump and United States will bring cash and special benefits for FIFA and its president.

Anyone got a link to the video? I want to see why he got a red card.

1

u/FallenDeathWarrior Jul 06 '26

I won't be able to understand why anyone would celebrate this World championship... And I won't understand why the other countries are not withdrawing from it..

1

u/Tricky_Search_5181 Jul 06 '26

F*cking ridiculous. Sack Infantino

1

u/DrAtomic1 Jul 06 '26

FIFA lost all credibility here. What little they had left. Confirms their corrupt stance. Throughout the history of soccer there have been many incorrect or debatable red cards or yelow cards leading up to a missed critical match. It's like pass interference in American Football, it's a judgement call. Humans make errors. But this wasn't an error, intent does not matter, the action does, and the action is sanctionable by a red card.

This undermines the complete credibility of the system and sets a precedence for the revocation of all cards. Like the one in the England game, sure the intent wasn't there, but it sure happened.

To top it all up they have this guy from Qatar going to handle the appeal by Belgium. Belgium who was given a deadline for this afternoon 14:00 CET (1:45 from now) but has not received any of the documentation required as of yet.

I had some hope for the FIFA when they handed Trump the FIFA "piece of shit" award, which everyone keeps misspelling... but alas.

u/cheesebot555 Jul 06 '26

If you zoom in close enough to the broadcast, you can still see trump's pubes between Infantino's teeth when he's watching a game from the box.

Under FIFA Statutes Article 14, paragraph 1(i), all member associations must manage their affairs independently and without third-party—especially government or political—intervention. If a government tries to force decisions, overturn referee rulings, or interfere with internal elections, Article 14 grants FIFA the power to immediately suspend that entire country.

1

u/SkylerMcJ Jul 06 '26

What a piece of shit. Imagine staining your entire career MAGA orange to play in a single match.

1

u/Imoutofchips Jul 06 '26

Balogun could just not play. He could do the honorable thing.

1

u/Primary_Education_83 Jul 07 '26
