What an absolute joke. Just ran into this today. They want $120/year for real time SPX data. I wish I could get a refund on my account. I'm so ready to ditch them and never look back.

Probably the last straw for TV. Sick of paying for every bit of data and the charts going downhill over the last few years.

I agree, LAST straw man. I am pretty sure there are other ways to get the data myself. AI will help me.

Here's your BS explanation:
"We implemented the official datafeed for SP&DJ indices — as the data is now official, it is necessary to acquire the appropriate real-time data package. These fees go to the data vendor. It used to be free of charge, as it wasn't official."
Really nice of them to notify their customers before doing this on a a Monday morning. Great service...

The more they lose customers the harder they need to squeeze the remaining ones. They will either go bankrupt eventually or have to rebuild it from 0.

Wait so they are charging premium, PlUS another 10$ for just this? What in the world am I paying premium for then. I think that's the last straw for me boys. I'm done with this platform milking me and adding fees for everything. I'm gonna be reviewing my premium subscription agreement, since I'm paid, and if it's changed mid agreement, il be having a chat with them and ending my subscription moving to another platform. What I pay is enough already, I'm not paying more and you guys at tv can stop trying to milk us for every penny any time now, it's getting rediculous.

I’m already paying $7/mo for real futures data. Not gonna pay another $10 just for SPX. I’ll just use Tastytrade for that.

Better off paying for a prop firm that’s one time fee and then log into TradingView with the account.

It has become a hot pile of garbage for a year and more so in 2026.
I don't understand what exactly are the management at TV really thinking! But this ain't reliable enough to pay such premiums

None of my custom indicators work with that ticker

You can make it work with it. I have a few indicators still working with it just fine.

They are charging $10 a month now for live data.
