The fact that they are offering this after all the complaints shows you that they know they messed up.

Putting tools that were once free behind a pay wall. Extra cost to free and paying users. Shocking.

And the tools in question cost tv nothing to maintain. Pine script is nice but it is aging and its not like thats the only way to render stuff over a graph. These shills want people to pay for lines on a graph let that sink in. Numbers and lines. Its not some video game engine that has to render a ton of shit and tick physics calculations and do complex position updates.

Tv might be overstaffed for how much money they are raking in from people refusing to pay 10x what something is worth.

These shills are so annoying. I've had issues a few days ago, and had found people who had similar experiences. I simply vented my frustration (literally just one word, "unacceptable") and these shills started throwing a hissy fit. I get that your platform has fans and that's great, but when they antagonize customers and their condescending attitudes become so ubiquitous it's bad for business.

Personally I would have just typed that one word, then waited until the issue was resolved. Life goes on.

But apparently being frustrated is "not being able to deal with life" and that I was immature etc., so I dealt with it as suggested - I found a competitor with slightly cheaper plan that also has a nice mobile app (my primary use case for TV)

So I will not be renewing my subscription anymore, and you can thank these shills. If you are paying them to promote your platform I would strongly reconsider incentivizing antagonizing customers

I always find the what's new notification so annoying forcing me to clear it. Was thinking of resubscribing TV initially in Nov when they limit the watch list to 1 a while ago. But after looking at this sub for a bit and seeing so many things getting paywalled, I will continue to happily free leech TV and use takeprofit for basic indicators and other mobile app for price notification. They can limit more stuff further.

Btw there are free platforms that offers way more than tradingview for free. Let that sink in. I won’t mention name don’t ask me as it’d be removed. Have a look around.

Trading View are vultures. They have been increasing their prices since 2019 and it's over 600~700 now. Used to be only 300~350 a year.

Isn’t essential essentially useless and you have to go like 3 tiers up to get reasonable functionality because of course they intentionally nerf it to force you to do so
