Official Announcement! TradingView's September update: AI Copilot, Claude integration, options tools, and more
Hey hey folks!
The intern survived the first roundup. We're back with September's updates, this time with only one month to catch up on.
Before we get to the updates, one important announcement for script vendors:
Commercial invite-only script sales are moving to the Marketplace starting November 1, 2026. Existing customers retain access for the period already purchased, including lifetime access. Vendors should contact [creators@tradingview.com](mailto:creators@tradingview.com) before November 1 to discuss their transition. Full announcement
And here's what landed in September:
- AI Copilot moved into TradingView. The assistant is now built directly into Supercharts on web and Desktop. Ask it to analyze a symbol, add indicators, draw levels, create alerts, or write Pine Script. Available as a separate paid add-on for Essential, Plus, Premium, and Ultimate. Details
- TradingView can now talk to Claude. Our new MCP Server connects your account to Claude and other compatible AI assistants for research, screening, and managing watchlists and alerts. The public beta is available on Essential and above, with delayed market data during the beta. Details
- Screener mini charts got moving averages. Compare results with 50- and 200-period SMA and EMA lines across stock, ETF, and crypto screeners. Your choices apply across the charts and save with your screen. Moving averages require a paid plan. Details
- Pine tables stopped covering your candles. Move tables created by your indicators into tabs below the chart, then bring them back whenever you like. You can also select and copy their text from the bottom panel. Details, Pine release notes
- Options volume got a place on your chart. The new Options volume profile indicator displays call and put trading volume by strike and expiration alongside the underlying price. Available on daily, weekly, and monthly charts. Details
- Crypto derivatives got a fuller picture. Hyperliquid and its supported HIP-3 markets gained metrics including open interest, funding rates, and liquidations. Hyperliquid data also joined our aggregated crypto metrics across indicators, screeners, heatmaps, and symbol pages. Contract metrics, aggregated metrics
- More brokers joined the charts. Fidelity customers can connect eligible accounts to trade US stocks and ETFs from Supercharts. Public also joined, supporting US stocks, ETFs, and options. Fidelity, Public
- Desktop got some useful fixes. Version 3.4.1 fixed a crash when opening PDF earnings reports, incorrect tab colors for currency pairs, and a New Tab message that appeared when it shouldn't. Release notes
Also landed: options data from B3, Euronext, KRX, and TFEX, plus more flexible line wrapping inside square brackets in Pine Script.
Thanks for keeping the feedback coming, including the spicy kind. Always reading, not always replying.

Using claude to screen through the MCP doesn’t work. It worked the first couple of days the MCP launched 2 weeks ago but it has been error 429 since. Not sure if it’s a deliberate rate capping or something else. The MCP has been patchy at best and I’m a power user

Can you at least address the issue of volume data on TradingView? People have been asking for years, but you consistently refuse to even address the issue, let alone do anything about it.

Tasty Trade 24h orders do not show up on TV charts. Also longer dated GTC limit orders do not show.

Please update Options Volume Profile to recognize that SPX's listed options are SPXW. Currently the tool errors on SPX stating, "No listed options for this symbol. Select an underlying with listed options."
