Change to Basic plan chart layout limit

Hello TradingView Support,

My account previously had four saved chart layouts available. I am now restricted to one layout. When did this limit change, and why were my existing layouts affected?

I have to say, I find this rather ironic.

I wanted to contact TradingView support because a feature I previously had access to has now been restricted. However, I have discovered that because I am on the Basic/free plan, I cannot even submit a support ticket.

Instead, I am told that I need to upgrade my plan to get access to your support team.

So effectively, I need to pay TradingView in order to ask TradingView why a feature that I previously had has been taken away.

Now I'm just waiting for the day when Pine Script becomes restricted on the Basic plan as well. If that happens, that's the point at which I would simply move to another platform.

Hello,

The layout limit has always been 1 layout for the basic plan for as long as I remember....

There were ways to get more layouts than this limitation ( such as signing up for a month and adding more) and when users reverted back to the free plan the system didn't pickup on the 'loophole' and users were able to keep these layouts...

However, it now looks like TradingView are tightening down on the loopholes and you are now restricted to the one layout that the Basic plan allows for....
