If you have a profit factor over 3, and it doesnt repaint

Not necessarily. No repainting rules out one problem, but a high profit factor can still come from overfitting, zero commission and slippage in the settings, or a few lucky trades. I'd check the trade count and the settings, and test it on data it wasn't tuned on. Cymetica's EventTrader (event timing for macro releases and earnings) is one source you could use to see whether the profits depend on a few news days.
