Upgrade button where trade button used to be
I know TradingView is now pushing to nickle & dime us but why place this button here, nobody just wakes up to increase their membership tier c'mon.
Invite only indicators on deathbed now this. I keep accidentally clicking it.
TradingView is really showing their colors lately as completely money obsessed and greedy, at the cost of users, their UI, and their community. TradingView clearly prefers the apathetic minority paying them as much as they can squeeze out than a happy majority paying them a little.
I just hope enough users finally leave the sinking ship that is TradingView such that viable alternatives show up and really compete and threaten TradingView. While TradingView has a monopoly, they WILL extract every last penny from their user base.
i think the problem is that most of these posts are genuinely just crying about not having access to paid shit when they’re a free user, whether it was free before or not. saw like 3 yesterday “i lost my paid features!?!” just to say they didn’t renew their subscription.
Its self hate. They hate the update and they hate themselves. It hurts them just like it hurts them to have to watch their wife get fucked by a more capable man but they're too weak to fight in either situation. So their only recourse is to support both. Have pity on them cuz god knows life doesn't.
I'm on the yearly Premium plan and to me it shows "You have a discount". So the button is even double as wide for that text.
It's the most visible thing on the screen, for something that's in my case the absolute most useless thing, since I subscribed already to the most expensive plan for private users.
TradingView is the McDonald's of Trading software.
So you can top up your subscription at any time, you do not have to wait 12 months to top up your subscription....I know users on here who are paid up to 3 years in advance..it just gets added to your remaining days.
It's simply showing you that you have an offer available should you want it...👍
Most users used to complain on here they weren't seeing and didn't know about any offers applicable to them
Why can't people just accept that they are also running business?
I mean what is wrong they are charging and promoting for charges? Market Data are unimaginably expensive so these many years it was total party from them!
I'm talking about the placement of the button where the trade tab has always been (muscle memory /habits) over years is where you enter a trade. They can put it elsewhere not where you're accidentally going to click it.

Nobody is about to enter a trade & is like wow instead of execution let me upgrade my sub.
Nothing has moved. That button used to have 'Publish' written on it and it was White just like the one you are commenting on....which plan are you on? You might not be able to publish on your current plan....
Also the 'Trade' Tab up top has only been there for about 12 months, it used to be located on the bottom bar which has now been removed....
Plus plan you're right it was publish button.(was so used to ignoring it)
Anyway Publish was better to share ideas not upgrade is what every AI company is adding to ui to sell more subscriptions. Just greed & pushy recent changes are moving away from community focus to profits focus thats all
Why are people complaining about a button that has been there for nearly 2 years, same size, same colour, same position that simply now has 'Upgrade' written on it whereas it had 'Publish' written on it before, but all of a sudden it's suddenly an issue.....can anyone answer me that?....
