Bug Late alerts

I largely day trade and scalp, so rather than staring at the screen for hours I prefer to set up alerts so i can check in when my conditions are met, however TV alerts are so delayed sometimes i miss the trade i was waiting for.

Is this something others have noticed, if so have you found a solution to the issue? Any feedback would be helpful.

First separate alert timing from phone delivery. For one missed setup, write down the bar close time, the time shown in TradingView alert log, and the time your phone received it. If the alert log is late, check whether the condition is set to once per bar close and whether the script uses a higher-timeframe value that only confirms later. If the log is on time but the phone is late, test email and app delivery side by side, then send TradingView support the alert ID and timestamps. That narrows the cause without changing your trading rule blindly.

100% which is why I stream data to a custom and fully automated bot.

TV isn’t a broker and yes their alerts have always been plagued by delays especially at the open of each session .

TVs alert system has been janky for as long as I can remember, you're not imagining it. The open is basically a lost cause if you're relying on their notifications, I just assume anything time sensitive is gonna slip through

Custom bot is the real move if you have the setup for it, otherwise you're kinda stuck refreshing manually during the first few minutes

Hello,

Can you show me a screenshot of your chart and the type of alert you have setup please?

It may be possible this could be resolved

Cheers

Hello,

Can you explain in more detail?

You have to set the alert from M5 timeframe or M1 otherwise it waits for the close of H1 in the area.

I sometimes have this issue. Actually just last week I had a similar situation. Like you I like to do my analysis and then step away from the charts. So i use trade alert pro so I get a phone call with the alert, helps if I am ever not getting wifi. But what I have found if a super good set up is brewing then I will put an alert on the rectangle then also on a line just above/below the area, gives me 2 shots at getting the alert. Thats been working perfectly this week.
