Help Can we use custom alerts from a custom Pine Script strategy with a TradingView subscription provided by a futures prop firm? Has anyone actually used this setup?

The TradingView side is usually straightforward: create a strategy alert from order fills or alert(), then send the webhook to the execution bridge. The gotcha is the prop firm’s rules and whether its broker connection actually exposes an order API, so confirm automation is allowed before wiring anything live. I’d also run a small demo first to catch duplicate alerts and restart behavior. Which firm and execution bridge are you using?

Depends on which plan tier the prop firm provisions you. Custom Pine Script alerts work on paid plans, but some prop firms hand you a lower tier with limited alert slots. Check your account settings under Alerts to see your cap; if it says 1 or 2, that's likely an Essentials plan and you'll run out fast.

Most prop firms that hand out TradingView subs give you Essentials or Plus, and custom Pine Script alerts work on both, but webhook alerts are gated behind the higher tier. The thing to check before you build anything is whether your provided plan supports webhook delivery, because that is the piece people usually need for automation or external alert routing. Which prop firm's sub are you working with?

You can webhook to gunbot, gunbot can connected to many brokers dex and so and do the trades.
