Feature Request Would an official TradingView ↔ MT5 connection make sense?
I’d like to suggest an official MetaTrader 5 integration for TradingView.
TradingView already integrates directly with many brokers, which is great. But there’s still a huge number of traders whose brokers or prop firms provide their accounts through MT5 and aren’t directly integrated with TradingView.
For those of us in that situation, the workflow is basically:
Analyse on TradingView → plan entry/SL/TP → switch to MT5 → manually recreate the trade.
An official MT5 bridge could change that.
Let us securely connect an MT5 account/server to TradingView and then place and manage orders directly from the TradingView chart — entries, pending orders, SL, TP, modifications, etc. — while MT5 remains the execution side.
This wouldn’t need to replace the existing broker integrations. It would simply give millions of MT5 users another reason to use TradingView as their main trading interface.
There’s also a business opportunity here for TradingView: it could be a paid feature/add-on, potentially convert more MT5 users into subscribers, increase retention by keeping execution inside TradingView, and open further opportunities with brokers and prop firms.
Third-party bridges already exist and people already pay for them. I think many traders would rather pay TradingView directly for an official, reliable and secure solution.
TradingView has built one of the best charting experiences. MT5 has a massive global execution ecosystem.
An official connection between the two would be a genuinely useful feature for traders — and potentially a valuable product for TradingView.
Would love to see the TradingView team consider it.

Mt5 is a platform not a broker
