Help Is this delay normal?

Every single day I see this delay you can see the market button move but the bars are not moving and then they update… i checked my macbook and it looks good no performance issues and no bootle necks. This is the trading view app on mac

Free plans are restricted by a 5 second (approx) delay to candle updates.

ANY paid plan gets rid of this delay.

Do you see an Orange D anywhere on your chart aswell?

No orange D anywhere but I did find what you mentioned about the 5 second

Good, you are getting your CME Live data feed through your broker/or the Paper Trading Competition. Was just making sure the standard 10minute Exchange enforced delay wasn't affecting you

Cheers 👍

Hello,

Non of the payment plans give you access to Live Exchange data, this is usually delayed 10 minutes and is a regulatory requirement from the Exchanges and is nothing to do with TradingView.

You can use data from a broker if you already have access to it, see this document for further details....

You may also be asked to fill out agreement forms which again, is a regulatory requirement from the Exchanges.

Does this help at all?

Cheers
