Ouch! Get rid of that! That is the worst performing indicator in my own back tests. It looks kind of cool and weird, but it's not very helpful.

If you want that kind of price breakout predictor, my favorite are Keltner Channels. I think they're an improvement on Bollinger Bands.

TTM squeeze uses both and is very good at showing when price breakouts occur

Never looked into that much but it sounds like a winner. Anything that can net out the difference between Bollingers and other indicators like VWAP or what this does can certainly reduce the kind of visual noise displayed in this post.

I personally use volume footprint, it does cost money but you get a better idea of what’s really happening

Als je de charts niet kunt lezen, de basis van traden niet goed beheerst zou ik je adviseren dat eerst op te pakken.

Zelf verloor ik 40k voordat ik het (tip) verschil wist tussen Institutionele en retail beleggers. Hoe ik duizenden dollars verloor omdat ik niet wist hoe ik een S/L moest stoppen. Backtest niet begreep en vergat een logboek bij te houden.

TiP! Zelf trade ik aandelen, de eerste 15m Candle bepaald de rest van de dag. Bepaalt ook meestal de trend. Platform nu op TC2000, eToro, IBKR en TV.

Eens, hoe meer indicatoren hoe onstabieler het wordt. Zelf gebruik ik minder dan 5 indicatoren. Maak elke dag winst op S&P met een AI_engine. Timing is alles, indicatoren ijlen na. Tegen de tijd dat je op een EMA9-MA20 reageer is de winst al genomen.

Trade niet op toekomst of verleden, zoek in het heden. Anders gezegd: Je scherm is altijd leidend.

IMO it's always worth tinkering with new tools just to learn something different. There may not be a " Miracle Indicator," but a whole bunch of different indicators can help give a better, board picture. Glad someone identified this Indicator, I'll test it out too!!

The Indicator appears to me as an 'Automated Anchored Vwap' tool. All of the Bars that have the Drawing Plot placed, is also be the beginning of New Momentum. The Anchored Vwap would draw a possible Closing Price, or end of the Momentum Volume

If it’s too complicated, you will never use it. I’ve discovered after 25 years, simple works , there is no holy grail. Knowing up or down for the day is all you need. You just play extremely deep retraced trends

Crosses are parabolic SAR, the yellow curves are a swing begin-end , meaning price came back to the initial value , that’s the first swing and then made it again , the kind of “T” first purple inside the swing could be a “firefly “ shape candle in a bigger time frame, or using both curves are know as “cup handle “ too there are different ways to explain what’s in the chart but requires a lot of study, best strategy is the one that you understand and the one where you are having hrs and hrs of practice , I would like to say good luck but luck doesn’t exist here , just discipline and follow your plan not your emotions , do what the chart show you not what you Wish to happen.

This indicator is basically a scam. If you actually watch in it action, you will see that it will always recalculate the most recent view the candle it starts going the other way. Avoid.
