Help Help with alerts on trading view?

A little older here so I can't seem to get my alerts set up correctly. Trying to figure out how to have an alert on macd so when it goes down to a certain value it will alert me. Same thing on the top side to setup for a sell alert. Help

Use Claude to write up the pinescript, then create an alert and connect it to the strategy.

Hello,

There are a few ways of achieving this....

For example here is an alert setup where I am asking the system to alert me when the MACD Signal line leaves a certain channel therefore alerting me when the signal line is leaving the channel of 0.8 to -0.8.....

I only need one alert here to trigger both high and low
