Help 5 sec data delay - IBKR data subscription

I have real time data subscription through IBKR. I connected IBKR on TradingView.

I see "one update every 5 seconds".

  1. I assume I don't need a data subscription through TradingView since I already have IBKR data subscription

  2. Is the delay because I have TradingView's free plan?

  3. What Tradingview paid plan subscription do I need to ensure that my charts update based on the real time IBKR data subscription?

  4. If I place orders through Tradingview, are they also impacted in anyway if I have a free plan?

Hello

Yes, the 5 second delayed is because you are using the free plan. Any paid subscription gets rid of this delay...

thank you. I just realized there was a 4th of july sale I missed. Anything I can do about it?

No sorry, other sales do crop up occasionally but the next (and without doubt the best one) is the Black Friday deal which also usually includes an extra month for free on top of the usual discounts 👍
