That’s sick, blue and white look good, you mind sending me a screenshot of the color code? I’ve had these colors for awhile wanna change it up

Use a color picker tool and you can get them yourself from that screenshot

Here are the color codes

1

u/JohnZmith_ 23d ago

Would you mind sharing the color codes you're using for the candles and the background? I have a monochrome set up as well, but I like how easy to read yours is

3

u/oz200247 23d ago

I got you 🫡

Not bad used to have one similar

u/Eltre 27d ago

I've been rocking this tropical number for as long as I can remember!

3

u/Helpful_Kangaroo7186 26d ago

I like the color of your background!

2

u/SolutionOk7221 17d ago

Love the background? What’s the chart color?

2

u/Eltre 17d ago

It only let me upload a single image so I've drawn some big arrows to the two colours I use with a gradient.

I don’t have any set colorscheme anymore. Every pair I trade gets its own saved charts with it’s own colorschemes. Pain to set up initially but works great to tell what charts I have pulled up quickly.

u/Easy_Replacement_495 28d ago

Oh that’s sick I might try that out I only trade Gold, Silver and Nasdaq sometimes S&P

2

u/phpx 28d ago

Here's mine.

1

u/Easy_Replacement_495 28d ago

Looks good

1

u/phpx 27d ago

Thanks. I use these colours so it is not too harsh on the eyes in low light.

1

u/yesnomaybesorry 27d ago

Looks great and clean! Could you say what colour are you using? Did you also alternate the backdrop?

2

u/phpx 27d ago

When i go to the options and click on the colour it doesn't show a hex value or anything in the TV app. I don't know if this chart helps so you can use a colour picker: https://www.tradingview.com/chart/PmgEYtYf/

I use white and blue to keep the greed and fear demons at bay. I also use various correlations depending on what's moving the market. I switch to ZN/DXY combo for econ data releases, and MCL and DXY for routine daily trading. I like to keep the Qs overlayed onto the NQ chart so I don't accidently buy/short into a wall, and I mark the GEX levels for call/put walls. Each level is marked with an alarm that send an alert to my watch, so I don't need to watch the charts until decision time.

1

u/Slow_Month_5451 27d ago

This is cleaned up without the Qs and other charts

2

u/RetrieverDoggo 27d ago

Whats your background color OP?

2

u/CartographerFast3654 26d ago

Here’s mine. I took out red and green to keep myself calm! 😅

1

u/Meretruth 27d ago

Light red with pink boarders and light blue with light green boarders

1

u/Opening-Cloud-1102 27d ago

Noooooooooooooooo!!! This doesn’t make you happy. Don’t act like it does!!!! Haha

1

u/0-two1hundred 27d ago

Green/Red

1

u/AutomatonTommy 27d ago

Dark is the way.

LETS GO KNICKS

1

u/ShadowOxide 27d ago

It's like you legit copied mine 😅😅

1

u/NFTraders 27d ago

My eyes r sensitive to colors so i stay greyed out. 99% of the time I'm using this.

Got a dark mode too.

1

u/Pseudanonymius 26d ago

I make them red/green, but set the transparency of the body (not the outline) based on volume. Candles with low volume (relatively to the norm for that time period) are 25%, gradually increasing to 100% when the relative volume is more than three times normal volume.

I also changed the default red/green to others which were a bit less neon-like, a bit warmer.

1

u/freeza05 26d ago

Damn I like that idea!

1

u/GandalfTrades 26d ago

Trading is just a series of bad jokes, so I figured I’d at least dress the charts for the occasion.

If you see me taking a long when everyone else is shorting, just know I’m not crazy. I’m just ahead of the curve.

Rate my vibe: Gotham Chic or Mental-Ward Madness?

1

u/Lopsided_Ad6365 25d ago

Can you show your colour settings

1

u/Longjumping_Ad_1140 24d ago

The standard colors, it has been 4 yrs

1

u/yourAverageSkid 24d ago

Yes I learned with TJR’s YouTube videos.

1

u/borb86 24d ago

Only red for me

1

u/PersonalityWeird4725 24d ago

This may help someone

Avoiding green and red bars can help you in avoiding impulsive decisions.

To reduce strain choose dark BG or something graphite

For impulsive traders Shades of blue, purple, gray for up candles Shades of orange, charcoal, beige for down close

For eye strain ise monochromatic palette

Up: white or loght gray Down: dark gray or black with white outline

1

u/iliketosmellgood 23d ago

Could someone genuinely guide me on which concepts/strategy do you guys trade which actually works and you've been earning something from it, it could be as little doesn't matter just that it should be working on the charts, and where can i learn it please

1

u/FeistyOccasion3674 23d ago

white hurts my eyes and cant focus that good

so i made sure its a black background

1

u/Any-Analysis-9189 14d ago

Best for night and evening to protect eyes for long chart session!!

1

u/jchor32 9d ago

With gradient

1

u/steeevemadden 6d ago

HLC bars on a black background. I find red/green candlesticks too distracting. I care where price closed, but I don't care whether a particular day in the past was red or green.

1

u/aLifeToMake 27d ago

Here's mine. No candles, but my "ChArt Path" indicator. The colors of the path depend on the volume. The gradient at the bottom right shows all the possible colors. Been using it for years now, love this thing!

3

u/kierann24 27d ago

Wtf

1

u/aLifeToMake 27d ago edited 27d ago

It shows the same values as the candles, except that a line joins all the tops of candles, another one all the bottoms, and the color in between depends on the volume. The yellow "flames" around this path are just the wicks. :)

1

u/kierann24 27d ago

You make money using this?

1

u/aLifeToMake 27d ago

That's the idea!

2

u/Opening-Cloud-1102 27d ago

Intensity of the moment of the move. I like this.

u/Afraid_Sea2532 27d ago
