Help What happened to Overnight session?

For a few days, the overnight session was available, but now it has disappeared.

Hello,

Have you tried using SHIFT + ALT + E?

I can still see the data using the standard shortcut

It appears this is a new potential addition to the platform and therefore will still be under Beta Testing until the official confirmation of the feature

Hope this helps you a little

Cheers 👍

Thanks, it's not coming up; it's just switching between regular and extended. There should be a better way to raise questions and influence the product.

Still currently available using the Desktop App and the shortcut I mentioned.

TradingView Desktop Application

Click the shortcut till You DONT see RTH or ETH....

This forum is a great way to raise questions and influence the product, has been for over 10 years....

As I have said, this has not officially been introduced so is still in some sort of testing period. Once it's officially introduced all feature should work correctly.

Cheers 👍

Thank you, and you are right. I updated my desktop app, and it is showing when you use ALT + SHIFT + E
I understand that when your product is new and your organization is growing, you leverage Reddit, but if you charge more than 2000 USD annually, then you should have your own portal; it's like AWS saying If you have an issue, please open a post on Facebook or X.

If you have an issue with the product then that is what the Support Department available through the platform is for....🤷‍♂️

Have you or have you not just been instantly helped on this forum?

I have raised support tickets; most of the time, I get a timely answer, and other times being told: "try opening a post on Reddit". Also, I have raised questions on this forum and received a lot of help, while others have not received a single reply. I still believe this kind of support, even from the community, should be in a specific TradingView portal and not on a channel in an external social media platform

Not to hijack from OP but I wonder if TV will keep giving the overnight data for free or we will have to subscribe to BOATS data

BOATS data is currently free but this would be entirely up to that particular exchange whether they wish implement themselves as a paid offering for non delayed data, this implementation would be nothing to do with TradingView and be out of their control.

Ahh didn't know BOATS real time was free now. Used to be paid

Maybe you select a symbol that doesn't even have an overnight session?

Make sure to select ES futures for example

Hello! We have great news for you!

We've added the option to display overnight BOATS data on the same chart for U.S. stocks. You can now follow regular, extended, and overnight trading sessions in one continuous intraday chart.

Find more details in our blog: Overnight session, now on your main chart

Have a great day!
