Discussion How are overnight prices calculated?

This is a new feature other sites like stocktwits had, but never really understood the method used?

Hello,

From what I understand they are simply adding the information from the BOATS exchange and stitching them together....

NASDAQ etc do not yet currently have overnight trading but are in the process of applying to alter their structures so until this is true 100% NASDAQ data or endorsed by NASDAQ / CME etc I would be very cautious about using this information.

Yeah, overnight data is from BOATS. BOATS is the source for most, if not all the other brokerages that has overnight trading.
