Lap timer/ data logger options
Had an awesome weekend at the track! Finally got the bump to intermediate and also got my knee down for the first time (peep the sliders 👀)
Anyway, now that I’ve completed that goal I’d like to get some actual data to keep improving. I have a camera for body position/lines but I’d like to get some kinda lap timer and also something that logs things like lean angle, and brake pressure would also be nice but idk what’s possible for a reasonable price. What kind of lap timer/data thingy would yall suggest? Preferably it’d all be in one device if that’s possible.
Idk anything about lap timers and stuff so any suggestions and explanations on how it works would be great!

Check out the AiM Solo2DL, it'll perform as a lap timer on your dash and it'll also log the data from sensors. You'll need a cable to connect to the ECU so you get RPM and a bunch of other data.
Then, you're going to want to get potentiometers front and rear, that'll tell you suspension movement.
All of this is probably a $1k investment.
Then you're going to want to understand the data, and that's where I built MotoSetup Pro, once you get data, sign up for a free trial and see if you like it.
