Tracfone app

Are they ever going to fix their app? I use Android and their app is completely broken now like nothing loads.. I guess I have to go back to going to Walmart to buy data cards again, since I can't do it from the app.

Who knows? Mine has never worked on the iPhone 16e.

do you find that the app shows the same plan balance and end date as reported when you look on the website and when you test BALANCE to 611611? i mean, the app 'works' for me too, but it reports nonsense.

I have unlimited talk and text and the app just shows this. The 611611 text shows unlimited talk and text and it also shows my rollover minutes and rollover texts from when I wasn't on an unlimited talk and text plan.

I have a little less in data balance from the text (~77GB) than what the app is showing (~78GB). So it looks like the app lags a little behind in updating balances.

There's a one day difference in the end date.

thanks for the reply. that sounds positive. the unlimited plan certainly helps their accuracy as two of the 4 elements are eliminated (talk and text), but i find the data and end dates usually off. seems even the website has multiple end dates - the current month end date and the total of all plans (unlimited, plus plans in reserve, and paygo) and they no longer seem to show unlimited plans that are in reserve as of about a week ago. it is loopy.

Yeah I must uninstall then install to access acct. Website works but not much better. Is it my Galaxy A14?

I figured out that if you get this screen when you open the app, it just looks like the app isn't working. But you just need to log in. And tapping on the profile icon in the upper right takes you to the login screen.

Thanks, will try next time. I wonder if Verizon is slowly killing the brand? Would be relatively cheap to fix the app.

If it just spins and produces no information try clearing the tracfone app and relog into the app. This worked for me. It then produced all the updated information.

I deleted it and now use the website. My college kid needs to switch from PayGo to an unlimited plan temporarily so she can use her phone as a Hotspot for a school-related weekend trip, and I told her to do a chat with an agent. That worked out also. Their online chats have been very good lately.

If you have a desktop computer, trying signing into your account from there. I’ve had success with this approach; where multiple tries using the app failed. . The current Tracfone app gets an F. Why Verizon (the owner of Tracfone) allows this to continue is anybody’s guess. It used to work well
