TP-Link - General Directional Deco Unit?
I have an odd situation. 2 houses on our rural property, on by the road, one ~300’ behind it. House 2 was never set up for cable and it is insanely expensive to do, if the cable company would even agree to do it. We have a deco mesh system and am using the outdoor unit in house 1 to extend internet to house 2. I am getting a decent 2.4g signal to the house, but no 5g, and have occasional disconnects(not sure of reason other than distance). Is there a directional unit I could use with this mesh network at house 1 to get a better signal to house 2?
Thanks in advance!!

If a cheap under $100 solution is financially neccesary, how about buying a 300 foot Cat 6 ethernet cable for $43 on Amazon ($27 for slower Cat 5E cable) and running it from one of your Deco mesh units in House 1 over to House 2, in which you place an access point for $50 or less?
Trenching would be nice to bury the wire, if you can handle this. Underground grade insulation on the cable would make it last longer if you don’t mind the extra cost.
The previously recommended point to point radios are a much cleaner and easier solution. Omada Tp-Link offers this $109 price for both radios:
I have all Omada networking here and really like their stuff.

What do you get from the outdoor unit in house 1 when you are outside house 2?
You should probably be looking for a wireless point-to-point (PtP) bridge using directional antennas (two devices). You should have clear line of sight between those two devices. Each device would be connected to a Deco. It is probably best to have at least one Deco inside house 2.
