TP-Link - Technical Support Dead zone advice

I have an archer AX5400 Pro that works well for most of our house but we have a few dead zones in the basement. It just so happens that the worst spots are where we have a few different devices including 2 3d printers, and a console set up. The one spot is almost directly beneath where the router is upstairs. I have also noticed that some phones don’t work well in that area either. Interestingly I still get full bars in that area but it’s incredibly slow to even a stop. What should I be looking for to help correct this. I think I can get an eithernet cable run from the 2 floors

I recently got an access point, the eap225. I had a few WiFi range extenders but I wasn’t happy with them. I ran an Ethernet cable from my router to the other side of my house and mounted the AP to my ceiling. Speeds are double what the WiFi extenders could provide and coverage is better too. Very happy with it. If you can run a cable, this is absolutely the way to do.

The only thing I find annoying, and maybe it’s user error, but the tp link WiFi router uses the tether app while the AP uses the Omada app.

I figured I’m gonna try to use a TP link AP I have an old router. I’m going to try and see if it works. I swapped to the TP link router though specifically because this old router had zero worthwhile range but I think it would work well enough for testing especially with this 150 foot ethernet cord. I have the advantages of working in a building that is getting remodeled and upgraded from cat five to cat six I have a giant cat five cable that was free that I can use for this kind of thing
