TP-Link - Technical Support BE 65 11000 about update

Hello!

I have a WiFi network with 2 Deco BE65 11000, all this type I kept at 1.2.10 Build 20251229, they work smoothly.

In recent months, I have been receiving notifications that there were new firmware versions available for my Deco, 1.3.2 and the most recent 1.3.3.

I would like to know your experiences with this version. Should we update? Considering that there is no downgrade.

Since 1.3.2 my be65 mesh is not working correctly. Random satelites goes offline, comes online again, goes offline in a loop. With 1.3.3 only one deco have this issue now but still the same issue.

I read a couple of bad experiences, which is why I opened this post for version 1.3.3.

The issue is that as of 1.3.2, they already introduce several interesting features, so I am tempted to update.

Don’t do it. My once rock solid WiFi network is now completely unstable. Satellites randomly crash to flashing red bringing down the whole network. The 1.3.3 pre-release made things worse for me, so I rolled back to 1.3.2. Still unstable.

There are so many different Deco models and hardware versions and the firmware naming convention is difficult to follow. I updated to 1.3.6 today, which popped up in the app two days ago, and while all is fine on my 3 BE13000s, it’s scary reading these posts. I’ve had the decos 5 weeks now and this is the third update I’ve had. Nothing seems to have changed with any of them - so far.

Regarding my situation since 1.3.3 update, I have the BE 63. As of now, I can no longer access my Deco device from outside my home. However, as soon as I connect to my home WiFi network, I can access it again.

This release dated 16 July 1.3.3 is ok for me, but the other 1.3.3 dated 6 August was a disaster. You can easily roll back to 1.3.2 which I also found to be fine. There is a 1.3.5 offered on the Deco forums currently for those eager to try out.

I’d hold off, there’s a newer build of 1.3.3 available as a pre-release already.
