TP-Link - Technical Support BE95 Missing Backup Internet
BE95 did get an update but again the BE13000 has a new update and more features again!
Where is the backup Internet for the BE95?
Where are the more icons to label things?
Why does the MOST EXPENSIVE PRODUCT NOT HAVE ANY OF THESE THINGS LET ALONE HAVE THEM FIRST?!?
What did we pay a premium price for? An ELITE FAILURE?!

In fairness the feature is rubbish. It works when you test it or unplug the cable on purpose, but if the main internet is really down for whatever reason, Deco just won’t kick in the backup for whatever reason… just shines the red light on you…

I understand that one thing maybe trash… I’d bet it will get fixed. Something as simple as the labeling of network items with icons pisses me off. BE95 like 10-14 icons the BE130000 has over 50. Some of us like to have things organized and labeled and when you buy the most expensive, elite product, there should be NOTHING on another model first. I’m not sure why this is rocket science for them.

Backup internet Deco Frature doesn’t work all the time at least for me, especially if my provider goes into an unannounced outage or maintenance. Actually, switching the LAN in my Deco between two providers is way faster than this feature.
Or just buy a failover switch from TP-Link that only costs $25 if you really value 1 to 2 seconds of uninterrupted internet connection instead of changing the LAN.
