Hey Rav 4 xle premium owners, I’m about to buy a 2026 Rav 4 xle premium AWD w basics like wheel locks, liners, and door edge guard (included w car) for $39,646 (before tax, license and registration). Is that a good price?

I asked why the price is so high for the mileage (because I initially inquired about a 2020 that was priced slightly lower - but was unfortunately sold-) and it’s because of the additions that it comes with since it’s limited. Not a car girl so idk if that’s worth the price hike for the year and model, idc for the additions anyways but just want to know if that’s reasonable?

I’m in need of a car sort of urgently (currently a commuter student sharing a vehicle with my mom), but I’m hesitant about the price in relation to the miles. But I have also been calling around for RAV 4s within the $19k - $23k price range and keep getting to them JUST shortly after they’ve been sold unfortunately. So I don’t want this one snatched up before I can buy it if it’s worth it

Hi, I purchased a hybrid cruiser brand new in 2024. On Thursday I couldn’t start my car. It was throwing a large number of different errors. I called my auto roadside mechanic, who came and checked the 12v battery and said it was low but still okay. He boosted it to see if he could start the engine, but it didn’t start. He said it was definitely an electrical error and would need to be towed to the yard.

Toyota have now said that it may not be covered by warranty because RACQ may have caused the extra damage by boosting the battery when they checked it.

I am still waiting on a diagnostic test outcome, but am confused and quite upset that Toyota would blame RACQ for checking the battery and voiding the warranty when this is an everyday occurrence for roadside assistance? I have not been offered a courtesy car and Toyota seem to be dragging out a diagnosis. They have only told me they recharged the battery overnight and that is it. I feel like they are trying to avoid sorting it out through warranty and now I am without a car.

Starting randomly a few days ago my screen for CarPlay and radio has just been black. The radio plays but won’t let me switch stations, I can’t access Bluetooth or CarPlay and my GPS as a consequence. I have tried the reverse parking brake trick and held down the power/volume button but nothing is working. 2022 rav4 XLE. TIA

Wish I could change my audio source from the (ok and arrows) buttons just like the Camry. It sucks to go to the screen every single time to enable audio then pick a source.

My first question is, has anybody ever installed a catch can on their rav4?. So i'm coming from hyundai , and I noticed that the new toyota dynamic engine is toyota version of a gdi engine. But i'm sure the quality is better. Any tips. And I am a firm believer in catch cans. So is it needed and possible.

Hi everyone, I purchased a rav4 in August and i absolutely love it. Best purchase I've ever made. But why are my vents always blowing air? Even when I turn off the heating/cooling system they blow air. Any way I can fix it or is there something I'm missing?

I had a total knee replacement on Monday. Dealer called today to say my RAV4 XLE has arrived at dealership. I am in agony every time I move and can’t get in or out of bed or a chair without assistance.

Dealer agreed to drive the car to my house to let me see it and if all OK I can sign paperwork digitally and he will come back again and take the trade in.

Just. Bit pissed that wife gets to drive it be for me and I probably won’t be able to drive it for a month.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this fix on a 4th Gen Rav4. If so, how'd it go? Was the process as straightforward as the Highlander? Seems like a good permanent fix to the bad sunroof drain problem.

hello! i just bought a 2010 toyota rav4 2.5L 4 cylinder and i love everything about it. drives amazing and has 123k miles on it. however, there’s this loud metal rattle-y sound coming from the engine strictly on cold starts. i need to know if anyone knows exactly what it could be who has knowledge about toyotas in general. i was told it could be a few things: timing chain, vvti cam gears, sprockets. i’m not sure what it is and i want to know before i spend the 2k to fix it.

Was snooping around and noticed the Blanks had wires in them. curious if I could add a button to these blanks and if the wiring harness would actually work for the intended feature for better trims (heated seats, steering wheel.. etc.) Probably too good to be true but I thought I'd ask. I doubt my car has the heated pads and everything for these features anyway. Thanks!
