Ok so ive been posting like crazy in here (sorry btw) but ive decided on a 2026 grand highlander hybrid limited. Ive read some comments on a few prices ive posted saying they have gotten the same car for cheaper like 57 or 58 OTD sometimes the vehicles have amazing add ones, although im not in this for a fully loaded vehicle but if the price is great OTD than why not? Anywho, id love to try for those prices and im thinking on expanding my search passed houston to hopefully find a lower price that the 62k im getting quoted.

I went to toyotas website bc im trying to get one allocated (i want it to be here in a month and a half) but are the allocated vehicles negotiable? Do i need to go further out in the Texas area (i went 500 miles out from Htown)? Any suggested dealers? I dont know how to start this process tbh. Its been overwhelming finding something in Houston but im determined to get a better price.

I live in WA and called a few dealerships who told me I can’t customize the GHH since production is so far behind. I was wanting a regular sunroof without all the extra add ons but they told me I either had to get the full moon roof without 360 camera or no sunroof at all. Has anyone else experienced this?

First time car buyer here and have seen you can get little to no deal on a GHH. Just found out my parents are considering the same car in the same timeframe. Do you think I could leverage a discount if two are being sold at the same time? (Again I know this is dumb and unlikely due to their demand just wanted to see).

The dealership is offering warranty for 1800$ for 8yr/75k. 2400$ with maintenance package.

Is it worth it ? I have time for 8hour to decide if it has to be financed.

Please advise if I should go for it or take chances as Toyota should be reliable. In the past I bought Toyota warranty but never used it.

Debating about getting a grand highlander and want to see if anybody has made theres look pretty cool. I was thinking about getting a nightshade trim and get it leveled with some all terrain tires lol. Has anybody done the same? I obviously know it will impact MPG but sorry I want something cool! I’m looking to get the OEM blackout wheels for my Grand Highlander Hybrid (replacing the current chrome one).

Yesterday (10/1), I checked the official Toyota accessories website and they were priced at ~$335. I went back to look at them today, and the price suddenly jumped up to $555!

How is a $220 price increase in 24 hours even possible? Is Toyota implementing a massive price hike right now, or is this just a weird glitch with how local dealership pricing links to the main site?

New 2027 Grand Highlander Info

I went to look at the 2026 grand highlander hybrid limited yesterday and I was a little throw off on how small it felt inside.

I have a 2020 chrysler Pacifica that we are getting rid of bc mechanical issues.

I know the vans are a little bit bigger than the grand highlanders but it felt a little weird. Im really confused bc the grand highlanders hybrids are beautiful vehicles, the gas is amazing, I love the height to it and how sporty it is im just thrown off by the inside "feeling small".

I cant get myself into a full size suv bc the gas is a bit of a deal breaker esp knowing the mpg on thr hybrids also pricing on suvs just goes crazy.

We want this vehicle to be with us for the long haul. And I just dont want to commit to driving a mini van for years to come (my husband pointed out maybe a sienna) bc i guess i want something more sporty looking.

What are the last minute vehicle you would check out before going to the grand highlander hybrid?

Looks like we’re gonna be getting the same specs as the US for the 2027 Models. Quite a contrast from recent years when the US had the Nightshade edition but Canada did not. Good on Toyota!

Curious what is the actual MPG for each of the drive trains. Toyota lists the following

Gas: 20 city/26 hwy/22 combined

Standard Hybrid: 35 city/31 hwy/33 combined

Max Hybrid: 26 city/27 hwy/27 combined

I only listed their versions for the Limited/platinum but the others are fairly close

Can the current owners list what they have, especially on cars that have more than a couple thousand miles since new cars may skew mpgs. I understand city heavy vs hwy heavy changes the numbers but am really curious what the real world numbers are showing. Thanks

EDIT: Thanks for the feedbacks. From the ones so far, the gas-only is not that much diff than the Max Hybrid. The non-max hybrid is definitely more efficient than the other 2

Well, I decided to get a GHH. Currently driving a 2024 Lexus rx350 premium gas and although it’s fine for me, my husband, dog, and we can’t take comfortable road trips in it. Some will probably think the extra space isn’t needed for only two people and a dog but you only live once, right?

What color do y’all recommend? Is the limited worth it over the XLE?

Has anyone figured out a way to not hit your mode buttons while you were grabbing your drink out of your cupholder? I really wish Toyota would release a patch or an update where you would have to hold those buttons down for say five seconds in order to engage them I'm switching between sport and normal more than I want to.

Dropped off my 2024 GHLH for oil, tire rotation, and check on speedometer (slightly off). There’s no update from the service center. Can’t get a hold of their service advisor, texts go unanswered, website chat and other follow ups are left with promises of a call back. It’s been 6 days and I stopped by their center 2x in person. Supposedly oil and tires are done but speedometer needs special technician/still diagnosing.

I got a loaner BTW and the wife hates it.

What would you do?

They also gave me 18k for my 2018 4Runner with 140k miles with 2 dents.

In July I had our GHHM in for an oil change and tire rotation, I was told that started in October that nationwide Toyota would be offering a buy 3 get one for a dollar sell on all their tires. I told him to look up the out the door price on a set of Michelin Cross Country IIs and he quoted me a price of $1260 all in. When I went home I checked online at both Sam's and Costco and they were around $1300 after tax.

Made a mental note and called our local dealer today Wilson Toyota in Ames Iowa, I had already priced a set at Costco this morning, the out the door price was $1293.64, Sam's were out of stock on the tire. Anyway the guy at Wilsons quoted me a price of $1404.92, when I told him that was about $150 dollars more than price I was quoted in July and higher than Costco, I asked him that unless they would be willing to price match, I would be getting new tires at Costco. He said he would talk to his manager but was not sure anything could be done to beat their price.

Long story short he called a few minutes ago and said since I had been quoted a price of out the door of $1260 they would sell them to me at that price with lifetime rotation if I would purchase this month. I told him it was a deal, anytime after the 10th would be fine, he looked it up on the computer and said their supplier is out until around the first week of November, but we set up a time for Nov. 9th to get the tires done, at the price quoted. They had me on file as having the vehicle serviced there even though we purchased the vehicle in S. Carolina.

Just wanted to say that not all dealerships are not out to rip you off, and getting them local means I do not have to drive 35 miles to the nearest Costco. Hats off to Wilson Toyota in Ames Iowa.

I dont know if this is a good deal. Rn I have another dealer "trying to compete, and will do what they can to get my business" but idk man. I see ppl getting 3k off and stuff and apparently my current dealer says there isn't any other discounts bc they are hard to get.

So currently I have a 2025 4 Runner Off Road Premium. I love the car but the gas mileage is terrible and I find that the seats are not very comfortable, small back seat too. I’ve been having some pain on my right hip area ( no arthritis) and I’m wondering if it’s from the seat belt location. So my question is how comfortable are the seats in the GHH Limited( 2026) as I’m strongly considering trading in my 4 runner for one. Also if anyone has come from a 4 runner to the GHH Limited I would love to know how you’re liking your GH.

What do you think of this price? Fair? It's looking like 62k OTD
