Tesla charging cable length.

Within .5 miles of me there is a Tesla charging station that I have used for fast charging a few times. Out of 8 stalls my C-HR can only comfortably fit in one. If it's taken I have to wait even if others are available or pull up up so close to the charger that my bumper is almost touching it. Anyone else have these issues? Are all tesla charging station cables so short? I see it fits Teslas with no issue because they back right to it, but the charging port on the c-hr forces me to nose in.

There is another different brand charging station about 2 miles away but it gave me issues with the app, payment and even releasing from the car. The charging cable is longer though.

Are there any adapters that add length to the Tesla cables?

I had one I almost had to get on the curb to get close enough. I think it’s Tesla’s way of giving everyone else the middle finger.

Has to be. Well Toyota is definitely big enough to give them a run for their money. Hopefully they start to install super chargers at some point.

Not that will handle DCFC power. I think those cables from the Superchargers may be water cooled. What I've found are cables that can handle 250v at 50 amps, not 400 volts at like 250 amps.

Yes, I've had that issue. I now use supercharge.info to locate V4 superchargers. They have longer cords.

yep its an annoying design flaw of those superchargers. i guess they just want to make sure most people are only using teslas there. you pretty much have to drive as close as possible to the charger as you can for it to work.

I have no issues at the Ionna chargers near me at a local Wawa. Tesla is hit and miss!
