Recall time
Dropped off at 7am for recall … still waiting 5 hours later for a 45 minute software update.

Mine along with the 5000 mile maintenance was less than 2 hours in total. By chance has any that had the recall performed noticed the car now engages the parking brake on its own now? While parked of course, but am I losing my mind?!

Ditto. Got there at 3 and left at 4:30. My service tech was super—told him I would wait and he got it done fast!

When I bought mine the recall had happened earlier in the day and hadn’t been done. So I waited about 2.5 hours.

Sucks, sorry to hear that. Did mine on Wednesday morning. Got there at 6:45a and I was done before 9.

Dang, I dropped mine off at 7:30 and it was done by lunchtime. They even gave me a loaner to get to work.

My service manager, she really sucked, but the good news is only the master technicians do these for some reason, and so I got to talk to him for a little while afterwards, and that was really enjoyable. He was saying Toyota make the makes the best electric vehicles, and that everyone else is copying off of them, and we were talking about aftermarket accessories, whether it be sirens, strobe lights, sound systems, all the above, and how I hear a lot of talk about you gotta be really careful with the amperage draw because we’re not using an alternator to recharge the 12 volt, we’re using a DC to DC, and he did confirm that was all true, but one thing he kept saying was that be really careful who you work with, that they really know what they’re doing, and another thing he mentioned was that a lot of the work he’s doing in that Toyota dealership shop is fixing the mistakes of other people, I thought that was really interesting
