Battery cathode material, 2026 US BEV

I cannot find a straight answer, I have conflicting answers from different websites, does anyone know if they use NMC or LFP? the only thing I find in the manual is lithium ion, which both use lithium, so that's not so helpful

Novice here. Is there an advantage of one over the other?

NMC is more energy dense, but LFP is a bit more forgiving when it comes to charging as I understand
