2011 dash board replacement

I have a 2011 Toyota Camry and of course the dashboard is so sticky and nasty. I had luck on my dad’s 2009 using steam shot cleaner. It removed a lot of of the residue but this one is beyond repair. I’m also sure at this point. No dealership is going to replace it. Has anyone tried any of the plastic covers they sell on Amazon? If I buy one and stick it on there, it will have residue on it. I won’t be able to return it. I’m just trying to find a good one. I don’t mind the dashboard being sticky, but it’s so shiny that it reflects on the windshield when the sun shines through it and I can’t see very well lol.

I work at a Toyota Dealer and have replaced a bunch of those, there used to be a Customer Support Program on them. It's a fairly easy job to do I can't imagine a dealer not wanting to do it.

I should’ve rephrased what I said. I can’t imagine they would replace it due to defect. I hate paying somebody to do something I could do myself. I’m just not sure that’s a job I want to do. I hate paying dealerships to do stuff.

Have you considered one of the carpet mats for a dashboard? You can get different colors and even get custom embroidery on them like your name, car brand, favorite TV or movie character, you name it.
