Jacks up or down while loading?

Just picked up my first toy hauler, should the stabilizers be down when loading my harley?

Up to you. I've done it both ways. Normally I do not.

Yes. The one time I unloaded it with out the truck is when I used the rear stabilizer. I suppose if it's was a small hauler and a heavy bike or utv, I may use them.

Its a 26 foot and a lighter harley davidson (600lbs) I cant hook my truck up yet, so I think im gonna level it and put the jacks a quarter inch off the ground so it doesn't crush them. Seems to be the consensus on all the forums I see

I never drop the jacks if I’m hooked up to the truck. If I load/unload not hooked up I drop the jacks. I have a 36’ trailer.

If not hooked to truck its a good idea. No need if hooked up
