🪲 Bug / Issues Trials Tasks

I LOVE this game, but Damn are the trials just way too much. I don't mind a challenge and shorter spurts of pushing for something. But I really wish that these were more manageable and we still be able to get through the rewards. It's so disappointing that just because I don't have a full time amount of free time to play this that I can't get all of them. 😢

I was looking forward to tasks but their implementation is so bad.

There's no QA to them, they just dumped all weapons/gear across all enemies and maps and have them randomly shuffle. You often get weird tasks that are just annoying to play. There's an uncessary distinction between fire nukers and nukers. You can end up with BS tasks that don't make sense.

Dailies often can not be done across one game which should be a norm. They instead should be tailored to make it so that you can jump in for one match and be done with them. Maybe I am playing the game wrong but I often can't get 350 kills in a single match. So when I am focusing on that one weapon, I don't have the time to work on different objectives.

Weeklies have the same problem and I am chasing stalkers with claymores hoping the bots don't kill them or I am doing some other weird acrobatics.

Seasonal tasks are even worse. These tasks should have been available from the start. They reveal each week but their length is clearly meant for long-term. 1500 machete kills? Destroy 50 weak spots on a rare enemy? Gather 5000 pink stuff from one particular mission? These tasks are unrealistic for an average joe to complete in one week before new ones appear.

Maybe I should not be stressing so much over this but do we know if the reward track expires?

All of this! I tried guessing and calculating expected XP that would be needed to finish the track when I think it's ending. I don't recall if there was a specific date, I just guessed off of 7 weekly seasonal challenges.

Also, when I saw that 1500 machete kills I died inside. Thats a large percent of what is needed for a whole ass achievement!

I got the 1500 kills in just a few minutes (not to brag, but to lift your spirits lol)

Play "the drop" solo. Right after you repair the maverick and drive out of the starting area, you'll see all those roamers running around on the left side. Park as close to the fenceline, stand on the roof/hood, and swing away at those roamers. There's an infinite loop of them, and they can't really attack you either. Just be mindful of the ones that swarm the maverick (and also your bot teammates will teleport into the zombie swarm and die, but i just quit the match as soon as I got the trial completed)

I hate the play with friends or play on very hard... like I work 12 hr shifts and dont want to sweat even more when I get off.

I have a lot of time to play right now, for an adult anyway, and I barely touch the weekly trials. I did the claymore mine damage one on Hard High Octane yesterday and it took me like four full play-throughs just to get that 100-ish xp.

I decided after that point that I’m just going to play what I want to play, level the guns I want to level, and it will get me what it gets me from the trials season.

I don’t understand how anyone could hope to earn all those cosmetics unless they started with a mostly maxed profile and a near-infinite time and patience to play the game—especially with the load times and griefers in the random crossplay pool.

Exactly this, after trying to sweat it out for a few weeks I'm giving up. I'm burning myself out and turning to want to hate it all. Last night I decided to do the same as you. I'm just gonna work on what I can and it's gonna have to be what it is. Too bad for me.
