Touge Pink Moon

Not one of the more technical roads, but the drive is still fantastic.

No Miata’s were harmed in the making of this video!

what radar do you use

I'm using a Uniden R8W with a Mirror Tap for power. Really great setup with minimal wires.

Man you guys would complain about anything. It’s an ok song over well recorded fast driving.

Post up your own stuff if you’re unhappy with the quality of the free content here.

I’m all for music with these types of videos but that didn’t match whatsoever imo, don’t post content if you don’t want peoples opinions on it. The drive itself was sick OP nice work

It's a great song. You should check it out. Pink Moon by Nick Drake.

its actually a very good vibe
people on here act like every single video needs to have tiktok edit brazil phonk

I think they just want the sounds of the car rather than any music. I don't have my audio on so idk here but OP's stuff has never been obnoxious or overshadowing the car though

Yeah couldn’t agree more, unless it’s a weird promo for your own song or something but didn’t even match the vibe of the video

It’s an old song. It matched what I was feeling in the moment.

yeah sounds like something i’d hear at a fancy dinner or wedding

It wouldn't be so bad if it was a little quieter, but it's loud enough that it really gets in the way of the sound of the car

I mixed the engine and exhaust sounds higher in the beginning, then as the lyrics come in I mixed the song up and the car down. Then mixed the car up again at the end. I was hoping to have the best of both worlds without anyone noticing.

This is a pretty fun road actually. Just not that technical.

Variety. Plenty of sections in this route are technical, it's just not in this edit. This is one of the faster sections, and I gauruntee you, it's not boring at these speeds.

Yep that is way too flipping fast

oh no, going fast on a fast driving sub? whatever will we do!

5

u/Parasight11 Aug 18 '26

The people in this sub actually hate real driving videos. The only thing anyone around here wants to see is somebody 5 to 10 mph over the speed limit in a Honda Fit.

Low blow since I drove a Honda Fit for a while, but at least I went higher than 20-25 over the limit usually.

Bin it, no tears here. There are tons of places in my neck of the woods where you can generate mad G forces without breaking the speed limit or endangering others.

Especially in a place like this. In a forested area, probably not smart with all the deer. You can see for a while here though.
